Mayor Will Wynn, the mayor of Austin, attended the event and presented FMU with an Official Proclamation declaring: I, Will Wynn, Mayor of the City of Austin, Texas, do hereby proclaim November 12, 2005, as End of Ramadan (Eid) Festival in Austin. The festival featured the following:Tour of the Muslim World, Children’s Talent Show, Live Performances by Oliver Rajamani, 1001 Nights Orchestra, Turkish Folk dance troupe, Children’s Carnival, An Arab Bedouin Tent, Handicrafts Shops, Food Court, Soccer contests.
